A unique programme aimed at inspiring the next generation of scientists by targeting learners at a younger age.
We aim to give young learners an early exposure to science and help them develop interest and passion in science so that we can create the necessary human resource to provide solutions to current and future challenges.
We help schools establish science laboratories, science equipment, digital learning devices, and e-learning platforms.
GASI offers intensive training for STEM instructors, undertakes STEM teachers outreach programmes, and STEM consultancy.
GASI holds periodical STEM slams, bootcamps, festivals, fun days, innovative project challenges, and helping schools establish and run STEM clubs.
GASI carries out practical trainings on programming, robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and IoT to learners between the ages 8-19 years.
Generation Alpha Scientists Initiative (GASI) is a programme aimed at inspiring the next generation of scientists by targeting learners at a younger age before stereotypes are ingrained in their academic journey. Children are naturally curious imaginative, observant, explorative and eager to learn. This provides a unique opportunity to ensure every child has an excellent first experience of science. Engaging young children with exciting materials and practical experiences stimulates and motivates them to learn and pursue science throughout school and life. To their propensity for curiosity, young children must learn science through first-hand investigative experiences and active involvement.

Financial support is critical to sustaining the work of GASI - developing laboratories, equipping them, and enhancing science teaching & learning capacity. We welcome donations of funds to support our operations, programmes, and projects.

GASI is giving young learners an early exposure to science and helping them develop interest and passion in science. The GASI programs allow you to demonstrate your commitment to advancing Africa’s scientific potential. For more information about partnership opportunities, please contact partnerships@gasi.or.ke

Be part of transformations across generations by walking hand in hand with our students as they navigate the journey of being young scientists. We also welcome women in STEM careers with interest and passion of reducing female gender stereotyping in science among learners. Contact mentorship@gasi.or.ke to be a mentor.

Volunteer your time and skills in GASI programs. They will allow you to demonstrate your skills while interacting with the youngest crop of scientists, and work towards advancing Africa’s scientific potential. Email volunteer@gasi.or.ke for volunteering opportunities.
